I am a true oatmeal cookie monster... I only counted, and as of January 2018, I've shared 47 oatmeal cookie recipes along with you. Eep! Have you tried any of these yet? (? You can find all my oatmeal cookie recipes right there!) They are some of the most popular recipes on my website cause they taste very sweet and cozy, just like conventional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they contain no refined sugar or bread!

So you're going to begin with whole wheat bread (or fermented, if you would like ) and immediate oats (such as those... or these for a gluten-free edition!) . Immediate oats are thinner and smaller than conventional rolled oats, also you may find them in canisters right alongside those old-fashioned oats at the grocery shop.

I probably seem like a broken record by now... But cause I ? you and also want your cookies to flip out absolutely soft and chewy, I'm reminding you again... Quantify your flour and oats correctly, applying this method or a kitchen scale! (? That's the one I have and love. A lot of either side will make your biscuits taste cakey or dry, rather than chewy. This is especially true of the oats--they act like little sponges and soak up lots of moisture from the cookie dough!

Ripe bananas- ideal for baking! Really like all @amybakeshealthy's yummy & wholesome banana recipes!

Watch these bananas? And all those brown stains? If it comes to baking bananas, brown = amazing! I ? additional speckly bananas cause they've a lot glowing, bold flavor--and also additional sweetness! That is the minimum quantity of brown that I recommend. More is better!

The remaining part of the cookie dough's sweetness comes in another natural ingredient... Pure maple syrup (like this!) . You would like the type that comes directly from pine trees, which is generally offered in skinny glass bottles or squat, round plastic jugs. Forget the pancake sugar and sugar-free syrup!

The pancakes include even more natural sweetness! The recently purchased, additional plump, perfectly tender ones are perfect... But for those who have old, somewhat dried out carbohydrates (hmm... it seems silly to explain dried fruit as dried outside! ) , that's fine!

Just add them into a microwave-safe bowland put water on top until they're completely coated. Seal plastic wrap across the top, and then microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. If you allow the peppers sit while mixing together the cookie dough, then this small trick hydrates them they're incredibly cookie recipe without eggs succulent --and that makes a large difference in these cookies once they're baked!

Healthy Banana Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Yields: 15 cookies

These oatmeal biscuits are soft, chewy, and full of banana flavor! The recognizable comfy spices and plump raisins make these much more irresistible. They'll keep for at least one week if kept in an airtight container in the fridge --should they last that long!

1 cup (100g) instant oats (gluten-free if necessary and quantified like that )

3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat or gluten-free* flour (measured like this)

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup (63g) mashed banana

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup (120mL) pure maple syrup

In a medium bowlwhisk together the yogurt, milk, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the butter or coconut oil, mashed banana, and vanilla. Stir in the maple syrup. Add in the flour mixture, stirring just until incorporated. Fold in the raisins.

Preheat the oven to 325°F, and line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.

Using a spoon and spatula, drop the cookie dough into 15 rounded scoops on the sheet, and apply to the desired depth and width using 34 Best Healthy Cookie Recipes - How to Make Low Calorie, Low Fat ... a spatula. Bake at 325°F for 10-12 minutes.

Notes: It is extremely important to measure both the wheat and oats properly using this method or a kitchen scale. (? That's exactly the one I have and love!) Too much of either would dry from the cookies and abandon them cakey rather than chewy.

Instant oats are also known as quick-cooking or moment oats. They are available in large canisters, just like conservative oats. They're not the ones in the tiny flavored loaf of bread. To make your own, add the same quantity of classic yogurt into a food processor, and pulse 10-12 days or until the oats will be approximately 1/4 to ? of their original size.

For the gluten-free flour, I suggest the following mix: 1/2 cup (60g) millet flour, two tbsp (15g) tapioca flour, 2 tablespoons (15g) brown rice , as well as 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum. Most store-bought fermented flour blends (such as that one!) Will also do the job, if quantified like this.

In case your pancakes are mature, dryer, and not very plump or juicy... Add them to a microwave-safe bowl, and pour water at the top till they're completely covered. Seal plastic wrap across the surface, and microwave the bowl on high for 1 second. Should you allow the raisins sit while mixing together the cookie dough, this small trick hydrates them they're really tender and succulent!
